Colostrinin is a complex of proline-rich polypeptides isolated from milk. Clinical studies show colostrinin helps enhance and maintain cognition, memory and mental function, as measured by standard medical tests of mental performance.^1-3 One of these studies found that colostrinin encouraged social function, mood and cognition.¹

Lithium, the brain element

Lithium, a naturally-occurring mineral, has been used for decades.⁴ It has exceptional properties for promoting brain health and function.⁵

A clinical trial of low-dose lithium in elderly individuals showed that, over a 15-month follow-up, those who received placebo had decreased performance on a cognitive assessment, whereas those who received lithium maintained their mental function. This difference in performance was apparent after just three months.⁶

Another trial in younger individuals, using a similar dose of lithium, found that mood scores improved steadily during four weeks of supplementation, including higher ratings for happiness, friendliness, and energy. In a matched placebo group, there was no improvement in total mood scores over the four weeks.⁷
