An L-arginine formula with staying power

L-arginine is an amino acid that can be made into nitric oxide by the enzyme nitric oxide synthase in the endothelium and elsewhere.³ This enzyme encourages  nitric oxide production and helps support healthy circulation. But regular L-arginine doesn’t stay in your blood very long.⁴

Clinical research studies

In a randomized, placebo-controlled trial, a one-time dose of this arginine-silicate complex helped maintain flow-mediated dilation—a process used to measure circulatory health.²

During a different randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, healthy volunteers took 1,500 mg a day of arginine-silicate complex directly before exercise for four days. For the group taking the arginine-silicate combo, salivary nitric oxide scores were significantly higher post-exercise than those taking the placebo.¹

NitroVasc™ Boost vs. regular arginine supplements

Many popular arginine supplements use a form of this amino acid called arginine hydrochloride. A randomized, double-blind trial showed that this form doesn’t provide the same blood plasma concentrations of L-arginine as the L-arginine-silicate complex in NitroVasc™ Boost:

Participants got either arginine hydrochloride or the arginine-silicate complex. The arginine-silicate group measured statistically significant improvements in plasma arginine (that’s arginine levels in the blood) one, two, three and even six hours after ingestion, while the arginine hydrochloride group only showed a blood-arginine boost for the first hour.⁴
